Fountain

It was a lousy Sunday evening and I was lying at my Friend’s place waiting for the IPL match to start. I hadn’t missed any of its matches (IPL didn’t pay me for that of course…).

At his place he had a wonderful Fountain show piece. I great combination of Art and Science was seen in that show piece. I saw that and wondered, hey dude, where was it so many days? But he was busy sleeping, DAMN! he don’t like watching cricket! I got up from bed, went there to see it. And then Engineer in me woke up, filled up water in it, checked the water level, and without any waiting, plugged it to the mains. The light glowed, motor in it started working some noise came and then a beautiful music started. The water I poured came out through the nozzles and I just kept watching it… Coz it was not the water that was amusing me, but there were small metal balls about a size of black pepper on those nozzles which were thrown up and down as the water came from that nozzle.

There were around 8 nozzles surrounding a center nozzle. That was great fun watching it. I kept it on the table, and for the first time I in the tournament I didn’t watch about 10 overs of an innings.

Watching that center ball which was most of the times above all the other small balls around it and after a very long time for a very low pitched sound coming right down to bottom, a thought Clicked in my mind…

Our Life isn’t any different from this… Our life teaches us many lessons, takes us to the top of the level, where we are able to achieve anything in life. We see people around us, trying to compete with us, to be there at our place, at our level. But then, as life takes us to top, it always has his own ways of teaching us how to deal with low downs in the Life. And this it does as per the degree of toughness the person has. If he is capable of tackling problems without any difficulty, without getting depressed he has to face the toughest problem… But then this is done because no one should get overwhelmed by his success. Life can take you at your lowest point, just to show you. Hey! This is the place where you have started… don’t forget it… It’s still vacant.

After all the time spent at the bottom, Life is surely going to lift you to the Top where you deserve to be. So the morale is never loose hope, never underestimate your own capabilities. Nothing is impossible to achieve unless you have true dedication and a lot of Positive attitude.

Bammm! And there goes another one sailing over the ropes for a SIX! Matthew Hayden is in top form of his career. I just saw the center ball again which was sailing on the top… and started watching the match…. Go Chennai Super Kings!!!
