Friends Fo(e)rever

Friends…. Is there anything to write on this? Everyone has written whatever was possible on this topic. Nothing left to write. Poems being written, songs being sung… But Still there is something which hardly anyone writes… Let’s see if I am able to do it without hurting anyone.

Friendship day! Everyone busy making new friends, writing names on hands, tying friendship bands… doing whatever possible to enjoy the day. Great! But then are these friends your true friends? Many people do call themselves there Best Friends… Do they really are your best friends?

People forget things easily, at many junctures of life where a friend helps you to get over the things you have messed up with. Things which you share with your best friend so that you will feel better, everything is forgotten. The day when a friend commits suicide for his Best Friend is marked as Friendship Day. And now here in my life, I wont expect this much but the Best one’s are so busy that they just have there own plans… and no time for a call… to say Hi! Forward a message and that’s it there job is done…

Many people share all things with me, there life, there mistakes, there joy, sorrow, everything…. I feel better when they feel better. I m not writing this to show off my qualities, But then last few days I understood who are really the Best ones I have. People have priorities… and the best one on last priority.

The Friendship Day was spent by me in Mahesh Tutorials, wherein all the kids wished me friendship day. Shared how they enjoyed. Atleast they don’t have priorities. They just have FRIENDS. Even now whenever anyone meets me outside the class they do have that courtesy to smile, to ask how I am? That’s what is expected friends, Nothing more.

But then there are still many of them who really are the closest. They just don’t have any flaws, they are worthy of keeping trust. Some of my Badminton partners too… some of them! So there is hardly a thing called as FRIENDS FOREVER……
